Join us for our annual National Policy conference on Monday, February 14, through Thursday, February 17, 2022. This year our conference will take place virtually.
For almost 50 years, WIC has played a crucial role in adequately delivering quality nutrition services and breastfeeding support for American families. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to play a significant role in redefining WIC services, NWA remains persistent in pushing and advocating for common-sense WIC legislation in all levels of government.
The National Policy Conference is our annual forum to highlight emerging and pressing WIC policy issues, promising practices in administering WIC services, and leadership skills to empower and sustain WIC advocacy at the local level.
The conference culminates with NWA’s Annual Capitol Hill Education Day on February 17, allowing members to virtually engage with Congressional leaders and their staff on WIC's importance and services. If you have any questions about the Annual Capitol Hill Education Day, please reach out to NWA’s State Public Policy Manager Noora Kanfash at [email protected].
FNS encourages and provides thier support in attending the 2022 National Policy Conference...see thier letter of support HERE for the Conference.

The Virtual Conference Platform will officially Close on May 2, 2022.
We look forward to bringing forth more resources, support, and encouragement to our members and stakeholders to help redefine what the future of WIC should be.
