The incumbent works under the direction of the Chief, Workforce Services Unit (WSU), Staff Services Manager I (SSM I). The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services assignments related to workforce services. The AGPA serves as the Personnel Liaison between CDPH’s WIC Division and the Human Resources Division (HRD). The AGPA completes all Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs), develops, and presents training on personnel-related subjects and provides guidance on the hiring process, classifications, allocations, and organizational structure. The AGPA provides information regarding benefits and pay, helps resolve payroll and benefits issues, and performs other analytical tasks for the Division.
