The primary function of this role is to manage the application process for Maryland grocers seeking authorization as WIC vendors. Responsibilities include:
* Reviewing applications for completeness.
* Verifying ownership and compliance with federal programs.
* Conducting on-site reviews.
* Approving or denying authorizations based on findings.
* Performing routine monitoring and assisting with compliance investigations to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
