Part-Time Administrative Associate (Temporary, Hybrid) – National WIC Association (NWA)
The National WIC Association (NWA), the nonprofit education arm and advocacy voice of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Administrative Associate to support the Member Services Team.
Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC area – Some in-office support required)
Contract: March – November 2025
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Pay: $25-$30 per hour (Contract cap: $30,000)
This temporary contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support.
Assist with logistics for in-person and virtual conferences
Respond to event-related inquiries via email and voicemail
Coordinate speaker materials, abstract submissions, and CEU requirements
Support registration, including preparing badges and processing payments
Manage event supplies, shipping, and on-site logistics
Help maintain NWA’s webinar program and website updates
Provide administrative support for exhibits and sponsorships
2+ years of administrative experience (event planning or WIC-related fields a plus)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Ability to work in Washington, DC, as needed (especially pre-conference)
Compensation will be offered at a competitive hourly rate of $25-$30, with an estimated time commitment of 10-20 hours per week. The expected start date is March 2025, and the end date is November 7, 2025.
