WASHINGTON – The National WIC Association (NWA) has launched The WIC Hub—an innovative online tool—to streamline information for WIC staff, researchers, and advocates. The Hub is a centralized, regularly updated collection of resources covering a wide range of WIC-related topics. Currently, this growing collection contains over 1,400 resources including position papers, photos, presentations, reports, testimonials, links to abstracts, and more.
“The National WIC Association is committed to expanding access to digital resources that share WIC knowledge with stakeholders and help WIC service providers better support participants,” said Rev. Douglas A. Greenaway, President and CEO of NWA. “We recognized the trove of WIC information already out there and worked to compile and elevate those resources. The Hub is an invaluable digital space for diverse stakeholders in the WIC community to share knowledge and ideas.”
NWA provides opportunities for sharing cutting-edge WIC work at conferences and, more recently, through webinars. The Hub enables people to share their WIC work to a wider audience on an ongoing basis. To ensure quality control, the NWA Hub Advisory Group independently reviews each submission before a resource is published on the website.
